1/15/2021. Ann Munster, Jill’s good friend from our high school days and their college years at the UM, let us know about Jill, who died of Covid-19. Jill was remembered by classmate Dale Withers Peck as “extremely smart” and that was a common theme in memories of her. Carol Muehlig worked closely with Jill in communications for the First Presbyterian Church in Ann Arbor and describes her as “friendly, helpful, open, and a wonderful colleague.” Jill wrote numerous articles for the Ann Arbor News in 1970-71 on diverse topics, including a poetry reading by the poet Donald Hall, who was later to be the husband of our classmate, Jane Kenyon.
